(December 17, 2011)
To our valued customers and friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of a truly great man, our own Dan Desmet, one of the 4 original founders of Flanders Scientific.
While Dan will be sorely missed we want to ensure you that you can continue to expect the same level of dedication to our customers and outstanding service that have defined Flanders Scientific throughout the years. Dan transitioned to a part time schedule in May of this year and had been on a complete leave of absence since September of this year. In his absence Flanders Scientific has continued to grow at a healthy pace with its single most profitable and arguably one of its most innovative product development periods since the start of our company.
Bram Desmet will continue to serve in the role of General Manager, a position he has held since the founding of our company, and all other departments will continue to be managed by their respective department heads. Dan most recently served in a somewhat limited sales capacity at Flanders Scientific and two new better-defined permanent positions were created within our company earlier this year to fill this role with the addition of Kris Merkel as a Product Specialist and Julie Butler as an Inside Sales Associate.
As we continue to grow we solemnly endeavor to honor Dan’s memory by continuing to dedicate ourselves to the two simple guiding principles he helped to engrain into the fabric of FSI’s business strategy:
1.Offer an exceptional product at a reasonable price.
2.Offer outstanding industry leading service and support.
Dan was a fantastic and generous business partner and more importantly a wonderful father and grandfather. He will be missed more than words can express. A tribute to Dan can be found here: http://www.DanDesmet.com
For those wishing to offer remembrances we kindly suggest a small donation to the Be The Match Foundation, part of the National Marrow Donor Program that helps patients receive life-saving transplants: http://marrow.org

BUFORD, GA
Biscardi Creative Media(BCM) has completed post production for season one (13 episodes) of the new PBS television series, "This American Land." BCM Principal, Walter Biscardi, Jr. is Managing Producer and Post Production supervisor of the series which is the first to come out of their new 6,000 square foot location opened recently in Buford, GA. “We’ve been working with Executive Producer, Gary Strieker, for years on environmental news stories and now we’re finally able to launch the concept as a national television series,” notes Biscardi. “Gary is one of the most respected environmental correspondents in the world and to be able to help him bring this series to air is a real honor for the entire team at BCM.”
Strieker heads a veteran team of environmental and science journalists exploring the country for stories focused on the conservation of America's waters, wildlife and landscapes. Longtime environmental correspondent Bruce Burkhardt hosts the series and is joined by newcomer Caroline Raville.
Biscardi says the biggest challenge for the BCM team was managing the range of production formats for the series. “Gary has a team of photographers around the country who use a variety of cameras so just name a format and it was probably in the series, both standard and high definition. That can create a problem in Post if you don’t manage the formats correctly.” The editors converted all the raw material into 1080i ProRes files prior to the edit using AJA Video Systems Kona hardware video cards and various software solutions. “The key is to convert everything correctly before you start the edit or you’ll end up with video that looks like soft focus or even worse, you get bad interlacing artifacts which leads to a poor viewer experience.”
BCM also employs a range of Flanders Scientific, Inc. professional broadcast monitors for quality control monitoring. High quality professional monitoring not only provides you with accurate color reproduction, but also helps to guarantee that potential issues like field reversals or excessive noise are not missed during production. Seeing what your material really looks like is one of the most critical steps in ensuring good image quality throughout the production pipeline. BCM has several calibrated professional FSI monitoring solutions in use ranging from FSI’s flagship 24” 10 bit monitors, the LM-2461W, for the most color critical work to everyday economical workhorses like the new cost effective LM-2340W.
Shared storage, and a lot of it, helped the BCM team turn around the 13 episodes in a very tight timetable. Editors Adrienne Latham and R. John Becker cut the shows via a Small Tree Communications ethernet based shared storage system. “We’ve been using ethernet based shared storage going on three years now and still amazes me that we can cut high definition across all of our workstations using the same cable most folks use to surf the internet” says Biscardi. “The biggest advantage is the greatly reduced cost over a comparable fibre channel based system. This allows us to pass along savings to our client via reduced rates. Additionally, we can connect any client computer directly to the SAN allowing them to review project materials on their own laptops during a session.” BCM has a total of 6 edit workstations and 7 iMacs that can all access the shared storage for editing and media asset cataloguing.
Gary Strieker and Series Producer Marsha Walton are already in pre-production for Season Two of This American Land with new episodes expected to start delivering early in 2012. To learn more about the series visit www.thisamericanland.org
Biscardi Creative Media.
BCM is a full service video and film production company that counts multiple Emmys, Peabodys and Tellys among its many awards and credits. The company’s work appears on Food Network, NBC, CNN, The Weather Channel, ITN, BBC and more. Featuring in-house editorial, graphic design, color correction, sound design, media management and office space, BCM’s location near Lake Lanier offers a relaxed atmosphere where creativity reigns.

FSI Introduces Powerful New
Features via Free Firmware Update
FSI Introduces Powerful New Features via Free Firmware Update
Anamorphic De-Squeeze, AFD Reader, & New Custom Markers plus other updates in 9.42
Flanders Scientific is happy to announce the release of firmware version 9.42, which adds some very useful new features to FSI's already capable monitor lineup. Three of the main additions found in this firmware release are:
1. HD Anamorphic De-Squeeze. This powerful feature gives you the ability to de-squeeze HD signals coming from cameras utilizing anamorphic lenses that may not have a built in de-squeeze feature of their own. This can be particularly useful in applications outside of post production, especially onset monitoring, where de-squeezing such signals in realtime may otherwise not be possible. The de-squeeze modes available are 1.3, 2.0, and 2.0mag. This feature is in addition to, and not a substitute for, the SD anamorphic and PAL SD FHA modes offered by our SD Aspect function.
2. AFD (Active Format Description) Reader. This new function gives you the ability to instantly toggle on/off a sophisticated AFD reader that will present you with the AFD code and AFD code frame, active image, positioning, and alternative image information. Additionally, the areas defined by the AFD reader will be shown onscreen with corresponding markers.
3. New Custom Markers. Two new user created custom markers have been added to the Marker Menu entitled Discovery and WS-SAFE-A-T. Keep in mind that FSI allows its users to generate custom markers via a 1920x1080 bmp file, which after being submitted to FSI will be rolled into future firmware updates at no charge. If you have a custom marker that you would like to see added to our list of marker selections send us your files (Support@FlandersScientific.com) and we will be happy to integrate them into our marker selection menu.
In Addition to the new features listed above some of the other features that have been updated or changed include:
New SD Enhancement Toggle on Video Menu for SD video signals.
New Default Scope Intensity Level at 75% of Max instead of 50% of Max.
RGB and GBR Parade indications moved right to avoid overlap with scale on left
Pixel Position toggle moved from function key to Rotary Knob to free up additional function key position
All new FSI monitors will now ship with this latest firmware version and as usual these updates are now also available for free to current FSI Monitor owners. Additional updates, features, and bug fixes have also been added in this firmware release. For complete details on these changes see the firmware release notes after logging into the firmware update site http://www.flandersscientific.com/index/Firmware_Updates . If you have forgotten your login information simply reregister your monitor. After registration you will be redirected to a page with your login information (make sure pop-up, redirect blockers are disabled).

New Affordable Native HD
Broadcast Monitors from FSI
High Quality Native HD Professional Video Monitoring Just Became Much More Affordable
Flanders Scientific is setting a new standard in affordable, native HD, professional video monitoring solutions with the introduction of two new monitors: the 21.5" LM-2140W and the 23"LM-2340W. Both units feature native 1920x1080 resolution IPS LCD panels with ultra-efficient LED backlights and standard 3G/HD/SD-SDI as well as Component, Composite, and DVI-I Inputs for support of virtually any video format including NTSC/PAL, 4:4:4 signals, 2K, and 1080p50/60 sources. Additionally, these monitors feature the same advanced video processing hardware found on our top of the line monitors ensuring that practically any broadcast standard signal, even interlaced or PsF formats, will be displayed accurately. And here is the best part, the LM-2140Wcosts just $2,495 and the LM-2340W costs just $2,995. That's right, native 1920x1080 resolution, 3Gbps SDI, high quality video processing, efficient LED backlighting, and a truly advanced feature set all for under $3,000!
These monitors come with many standard broadcast monitor features like Blue Only, MonoChrome, Markers, Safety Areas, & Tally Lights and like all FSI monitors also come standard with advanced features like our 12 Mode Scopes, Focus Assist, Time Code Display, Freeze Frame Picture and Picture, Audio Disembedding, and Audio Level Meter features.
The LM-2140W and LM-2340W were purpose built as full-featured low cost monitoring solutions for environments that do not require the Grade 1 performance and color fidelity of FSI's flagship 10 bit 24" reference monitor, the LM-2461W. While not equipped with the advanced Color Fidelity Engine found on the LM-2461W these units are still fully calibrated and will offer sufficient color accuracy for general color judgment in a wide array of less critical professional monitoring applications. For advanced color grading environments or other very color-critical workflows FSI highly recommends our top of the line LM-2461W reference grade monitor, but for virtually every other general video monitoring application the LM-2140W and the slightly larger LM-2340W are an ideal choice at an unbeatable price.
The LM-2140W and LM-2340W are also incredibly capable field monitoring options thanks to their durable yet lightweight aluminum frames and ultra-efficient LED backlights. At just 9lbs (LM-2140W) or 10lbs (LM-2340W) these units are not only lighter than most comparably sized professional broadcast monitors, but even weigh several pounds less than the majority of 17" broadcast monitors on the market. Additionally at just 28 Watts (LM-2140W) or 30 Watts (LM-2340W) power consumption these units are some of the most efficient full-featured native 1920x1080 resolution broadcast monitors at any size.

New Field Monitor Options from FSI
1760WF Field Unit & 24" Battery Options
Lightweight Power Efficient Field Unit with Excellent Accessory Package
Flanders Scientific, Inc. is pleased to announce the official launch of the new LM-1760WF Field Unit. This lightweight 17" Monitor is a modified version of the LM-1760W designed specifically for field use. The standard LM-1760W is a 24VDC unit, but the LM-1760WF supports 12VDC directly without the need for an external 12V to 24V DC adapter making it the ideal choice for applications requiring efficient battery powered monitoring. The unit is also equipped with a standard AC power connection (100~240VAC) for hassle free use on AC power when available.
In addition to 12VDC power connectivity the LM-1760WF also comes packaged for field use with the following items at no additional charge:
Carrying Bag with Integrated Hood (CBH17): Can be used in both a desktop or light stand configuration for maximum versatility on set. Moreover, the combined weight of the monitor and carrying bag is only 17.5lbs...that is about the same weight as many 17" production monitors by themselves. Made of durable cordura and ballistic nylon the interior of the bag helps protect the monitor with foam padding and a single piece honeycomb frame. The built in 4 sided hood assists in providing shade for viewing and the adjustable back leg can be adjusted for optimal tilt or lifted to allow the monitor to be mounted on a light stand while leaving the bag attached for protection and shade.
2 x Clear Protective Covers (CPC17): These clear protective panel covers can be attached to the front of the monitor via simple hook and loop fastener strips. These covers help protect the LCD panel from objects that may otherwise cause damage or bruising to the LCD panel. The clear protective covers are made of high quality optical grade acrylic that is scratch resistant and two panel covers are provided so you always have a spare panel cover ready in case one becomes damaged.
VESA to Light Stand Adapter: This durable VESA to 5/8" spigot light stand adapter provides for quick and easy mounting on a light stand. The VESA adapter is lightweight but extremely strong and features two pivot points for maximum adjustability. Best of all this adapter can be left attached even when not in use as it folds inside of the carrying bag, which means no tools are required to quickly transition from transport, to desktop, to light stand configurations.
You get the monitor and all of the above accessories for just $2,795
A truly incredible value for a versatile field monitor that comes with all of the advanced scope modes and ancillary features you expect from an FSI monitor. Click HERE to learn more.
New Battery Power Options for the LM-2461W
LM-2461W monitors can now be ordered with an AB or V-Mount Battery Plate
The 24" LM-2461W continues to be widely adopted at post facilities around the world, but an increasing number of operators are finding that the LM-2461W is also an ideal on set / field use monitor. At just 15.8lbs (without stand, 19.8lbs with stand), 50 Watts Power Consumption (@120cd/m2), and featuring a durable diecast aluminum frame the LM-2461W is one of the lightest full featured color critical 24" monitor solutions available on the market.
The LM-2461W comes equipped with both AC and 24VDC power connections, but now FSI is also offering two battery plate options for the LM-2461W. Customers purchasing an LM-2461W will be able to order an optional AB or V-Mount battery plate, which will be installed directly onto the chassis. Additionally, when ordered with one of these battery plates your LM-2461W will be converted from a 24VDC to a 12VDC unit so no external voltage adapters are required to power your monitor from standard 12V (11~14.4V) batteries.
10amp rated batteries are recommended for applications requiring high luminance output (170~350cd/m2) from the monitor, but even standard 6amp rated batteries are more than sufficient for operating the monitor at default settings. In its default configuration the LM-2461W only draws around 50Watts of power, easily making this 24" monitor as efficient as many 17" production monitors on the market.

Firmware Version 9.41-1710 Released
Now Available for Download
All new FSI Monitors will now ship with firmware version 9.41-1710 or later, which includes the following New Features and Updates:
3Gbps Level B Overlay Viewing Mode: At NAB 2011 FSI added several Level B 3Gbps Viewing Modes in addition to the Level A 3Gbps SDI support that has always been included on FSI monitors equipped with 3Gbps SDI inputs. These Level B Viewing modes were designed primarily for viewing two distinct 1.5Gbps 4:2:2 signals in various configurations. However, while many professional 3Gbps SDI I/O cards output 4:4:4 RGB or YCbCr signals using Level A 3Gbps SDI some I/O cards exclusively employ Level B 3Gbps image format mapping for 4:4:4 RGB and 4:4:4 YCbCr signals. To accommodate signals from such 3Gbps SDI output cards FSI has added an Overlay Viewing Mode to the Level B 3Gbps monitoring options. This toggle can be activated from the System Menu/3G Level B selection and is entitled OVERLAY. As with Level A 3Gbps SDI it may be necessary to manually select the SDI Format (RGB or YCbCr) from the video menu if payload ID is not present or detected.
3Gbps Level A Bug Fix: A bug only present in firmware version 9.40-1697 that could possibly prevent some Level A 3Gbps SDI signals from displaying properly has been resolved in this firmware release.
New Safety Broadcast Feature: The new Safety Broadcast feature activates a special monitoring mode designed primarily for Control Rooms and QC stations. With Safety Broadcast on you can simultaneously display two audio level meters, an Enhanced Source ID display (large overlay, remotely or manually set), Enhanced Alarm Window Display (large window, red background), and enhanced timecode display (large timecode overlay window). Please see the updated user manual for more information on this new Safety Broadcast feature.
Still Frame Feature Update: The Still Frame feature has been updated to support high resolution progressive scan signals in addition to previously supported interlaced and lower resolution sources.
IRE Alarm Trigger Level: In response to the valued feedback of FSI monitor owners the IRE Trigger Level on the Alarm menu is now shown in an IRE instead of digital level scale.
As usual these updates are now also available for free to LM-0750W, LM-1760W, LM-2450W, LM-2460W, and LM-2461W owners. Additional updates, features, and bug fixes have also been added in this firmware release. New Features & New Firmware
Announced for FSI Monitors
Great New & Updated Features Announced for FSI Monitors
Firmware Version 9.40-1697 Now Available for download
All new FSI Monitors will now ship with firmware version 9.40-1697 or later, which includes the following exciting new features since the last major firmware release (9.38):
DSLR Zoom Function: Allows for full screen scaling of both 1080 and 480 resolution DSLR preview/recording mode video outputs. Best of all once this function is turned on it remains on while switching between 480 and 1080 output modes so that both SD and HD modes are automatically scaled full screen without the need for additional actions by the operator. DSLR Zoom also works in conjunction with other functions like Scopes and Markers allowing for truly versatile operation in conjunction with today's most popular DSLR cameras.
Onscreen Alarms: A new menu titled Alarms has been added. This new Alarm menu allows operators to specify predefined alarm conditions that will trigger an onscreen alarm dialog box. Selectable alarm triggers include exceeding user defined IRE threshold, exceeding RGB threshold, Blue Field, Black Field, Loss of Signal, and Audio Mute. The advantage of the onscreen alarm system is that the small alarm dialog box only appears when an alarm condition is met, which makes it much less obtrusive than larger scope window overlays. Please see the updated user manual for important information regarding limitations of the onscreen alarm system.
Level B 3Gbps SDI Monitoring Options: Monitors equipped with 3Gbps SDI Inputs can now monitor SMPTE 425M-Level B signals in addition to SMPTE 425M-Level A signals, allowing for exciting new capabilities beyond just monitoring 1080p50/60 or 4:4:4 signals over 3Gbps SDI. In particular this new functionality allows for selection of Link A full screen, Link B full screen, Picture in Picture Modes, Vertical Split, and Horizontal Split viewing. Learn more about all 3Gbps SDI monitoring modes at: http://www.flandersscientific.com/index/3Gbps_SDI
Level B Variable Wipe: This function can be combined with 3Gbps SDI Level B Monitoring to allow Horizontal and Vertical Split screen modes in Level B 3Gbps SDI to be adjusted with a user defined split screen positioning.
Still Frame: The ability to temporarily freeze a single frame of video for review has been added with the new Still Frame function.
New Source ID/Tally Window on Scopes and VU Meters Menu: Window 1 or Window 2 of the Scopes and VU Meters function can now be filled with a dedicated Source ID/Tally Window that will show manually set Source ID, Remotely Programmed UMD, and current Tally Light condition (Red/Green/Amber).
This new firmware version also features the following updates to existing features:
NO DATA Indication on Audio Level Meters: The previous MUTE indication has been removed and a less ambiguous NO DATA indication has been added to identify Audio Channels (Groups) that are NOT being embedded into the SDI signal. Mute audio channels will now simply be shown with no volume indication, but will not indicate NO DATA unless the audio channel is actually not being embedded into the SDI signal.
-10 dBFS Permitted Max Level: By user request we have added -10 dBFS as a selectable Max Permitted Level setting for the Audio Level Meters.
LUM Coloring Feature Update: The LUM Coloring exposure check feature has been updated to allow for more flexibility. In addition to being able to set a min and max limit users will now have the ability to define a middle area that will not be color coded, but rather shown in monochrome (greyscale). This allows operators to set precisely defined upper and lower color coded regions to more easily identify over and under exposed areas in a shot.
Graticules (Custom Marker) Span Width/Height Feature Added: In addition to showing the precise pixel position of the custom markers the Graticules function will now also provide a readout of the width and height of the area the operator has defined with the adjustable marker lines. This provides a quick and intuitive way of knowing the precise dimensions of the box that has been created with the Graticules feature.
Ability to Monitor just Audio Channels 1 & 2 with Onscreen Audio Level Meters: In addition to being able to monitor 8 or 16 channels of audio operators will now be able to monitor just audio channels 1 and 2 using the horizontal audio level meters to ensure minimal overlap with active video. This is an especially useful feature on 7" and 17" FSI monitors.
As usual these updates are now also available for free to LM-0750W, LM-1760W, LM-2450W, LM-2460W, and LM-2461W owners. Additional updates, features, and bug fixes have also been added in this firmware release. Flanders Scientific Announces
Upgrade Options for the LM-2460W
Part of FSI's ongoing commitment to minimizing obsolescence
Rapid development and improvement of products is a reality of the modern professional video industry. In light of such rapid development FSI adheres to two basic principles with respect to new and old products:
FSI will attempt to find the best balance between performance and price in any new product development. FSI's new products aim at providing professionals with the tools needed to get the job done adequately and with confidence, but at a reasonable price. FSI has no interest in developing ultra-expensive products that all but a few facilities can possibly afford, especially given the track record of the rapid move towards obsolescence of even these very expensive technologies.
Whenever possible within the constraints of hardware compatibility and reasonable upgrade pricing FSI will offer upgrade options to existing customers. This is evident foremost in our continual stream of new features via simple and free firmware upgrades, but also in our affordable hardware upgrade options whenever such upgrade-ability is technically feasible at a fair price.
The new reference grade LM-2461W broadcast monitor is a good example of FSI's attempt to balance superb performance, features, and pricing. It offers customers a 10bit, Native HD monitor with 3Gbps/HD/SD-SDI inputs standard and also features 12 on-board scope modes, DCI-P3 support, and a whole host of other advanced features for under $5,000.
The two new upgrade paths explained below for LM-2460W owners are prime examples of FSI's continued commitment to upgrade-ability whenever possible by allowing LM-2460W owners to implement all or some of the LM-2461W's advancements at little or no cost.
Upgrade Option Details for LM-2460W Owners
The Flanders Scientific LM-2461W reference monitor made its official debut at NAB 2011. This monitor is the successor to the popular LM-2460W. The LM-2461W has incorporated the following significant advances compared to the LM-2460W:
Addition of 3Gbps SDI Inputs as standard equipment. This new hardware configuration adds the ability to monitor both Level A and Level B 3Gbps SDI video signals (SMPTE 425M-AB).
Addition of DCI-P3 Color Space Support.
Remote Control Alarm Monitoring Support.
All LM-2461W feature updated LUTs for all color spaces based on measurement data from a new and more accurate reference spectroradiometer.
In most other respects the LM-2460W and LM-2461W are quite similar. Thanks to this similarity in other design aspects two upgrade paths will be available for LM-2460W owners that would like to take advantage of some or all of the LM-2461W enhancements. Both upgrade paths require that the LM-2460W be returned to FSI's service facility in Suwanee, GA.
The first upgrade path will add the DCI-P3 Color Space, update the necessary hex file for remote control alarm monitoring, load the updated LUTs based on the newer reference spectroradiometer, and include full recalibration of the monitor. This service is provided at no cost, but freight charges to/from Suwanee, GA are the customer's responsibility. After this update the monitor model on the system status menu will read LM-2461W and future firmware updates will use the LM-2461W firmware files.
The second upgrade path includes everything from the first upgrade path as well as the addition of a 3Gbps SDI Input board. This will functionally turn the LM-2460W into an LM-2461W and allow for support of 3Gbps SDI Level A and Level B (SMPTE 425M-AB). This upgrade will cost $995 (3Gbps SDI was originally a $1,995 option on the LM-2460W) in addition to all applicable freight charges to/from FSI's service facility in Suwanee, GA. After this update the monitor model on the system status menu will read LM-2461W-3G and future firmware updates will use the LM-2461W firmware files. Customers that already own an LM-2460W with 3Gbps SDI option installed do not need to pay for this upgrade and will only be responsible for freight to/from FSI to take advantage of these new enhancements. To learn more about 3Gbps SDI visit: http://www.flandersscientific.com/index/3Gbps_SDI
Customers interested in either upgrade path must first contact Flanders Scientific at Support@FlandersScientific.com or +1.678.835.4934 to request an RMA and schedule your update. Please indicate whether you are interested in upgrade path 1 or upgrade path 2 when requesting your RMA form. Updates will be scheduled to allow for 24 hour turnaround of all work to minimize your downtime. Only the LM-2460W is eligible for this optional upgrade.

Flanders Scientific Announces
New Flagship Monitor, the LM-2461W
3Gbps SDI, DCI P3 support, and more at an incredible price: just $4,995
Flanders Scientific is pleased to announce the launch of their new top of the line monitor, the LM-2461W. The LM-2461W features a 1920x1200 resolution LCD panel with 10 bit color depth (1.073 Billion Colors) and 3Gbps SDI (SMPTE 425M-AB) Inputs as standard equipment. The LM-2461W also features FSI's advanced Color Fidelity Engine allowing users to instantly switch between Rec 709, SMPTE C, EBU, and Native Wide Gamut modes and now also adds support for DCI-P3. Best of all, Flanders Scientific has kept the LM-2461W priced at just $4,995, the same as the outgoing LM-2460W that it will replace.
LM-2461W Product Highlights:
3Gbps SDI Inputs standard
What was a $1,995 option on the LM-2460W is now included at no additional cost on the LM-2461W. 3Gbps/HD/SD-SDI, Component, Composite, and DVI-I Inputs are all provided as standard equipment.
DCI P3 Support
The LM-2461W has added a DCI P3 mode in addition to the Rec 709, SMPTE C, EBU, and Native Wide Gamut modes found on previous models.
Level B SMPTE 425M Support
Coming as a firmware update later this year to the LM-2461W will be Level B 3Gbps SDI support in addition to the already supported Level A image mapping 3Gbps SDI.
Remote Alarm Monitoring
Also coming as a firmware update later this year to the LM-2461W will be a new Remote Alarm Monitoring software option. Stay tuned for details on this exciting new capability.
Extraordinary Color Accuracy
At FSI we have long been advocates of the concept that a monitor's calibration can only be as good as the measuring device used. In light of this FSI has transitioned to the Minolta CS-2000 Spectroradiometer as our primary reference instrument allowing us to further dial in LUT and alignment tolerances for our most accurate monitor to date.
Shared panel technology with LM-2460W monitors
By utilizing the same fundamental panel technology found in all LM-2460W monitors these units can be precisely matched and will exhibit the same basic viewing characteristics allowing these monitors to be used side by side at facilities that already are heavily invested in LM-2460Ws.
The LM-2461W will start shipping on Wednesday of this week (3/23) and may now be ordered from www.ShopFSI.com . If you are attending NAB this year make sure to stop by our our booth, SL10010, to check out this extraordinary new monitor.

How the drawing works:
FSI will have drawing regristration cards available at the FSI booth (SL10010) that you can fill out at the show and submit to be entered in the drawings. However, if you would like to save some time at NAB you can use the online form here to enter your information and have a completed drawing registration form emailed to you so you can print it out ahead of time and do not need to spend time filling out your information form at our booth. Regardless of where/when you decide to fill out your drawing registration form YOU MUST STOP BY THE FSI BOOTH (SL10010) AT SOME TIME DURING THE SHOW TO SUBMIT YOUR DRAWING REGISTRATION CARD IN THE DRAWING BOWL TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRIZES. If you, or a friend/colleague, do not physically submit your registration form at the booth you will not be entered into the drawing.
FSI will begin accepting completed drawing registrations when the show floor opens at 9am on Monday, April 11th. The first drawing, for an AJA 3GM Dual-Link/3Gbps SDI Mux will be held at the FSI booth on Tuesday, April 12th at 10am followed immediately by a second drawing for an AJA Kona3G I/O card. This will be repeated at the same time, 10am, on Wednedsay and Thursday. You do not need to be present for the drawing to win. One drawing registration form enters you into all 6 drawings so the earlier in the week you drop by the booth to submit your registration form the better your odds of winning will be!

New Remote Control Options and
Monitor Features announced at BIRTV
New Remote Control Options for FSI Monitors Control your FSI Monitor(s) from your iPod Touch, iPhone, and/or iPad
Today (August 23rd), at the opening day of the BIRTV show in Beijing, China, FSI announced the release of a new way to control your Flanders Scientific monitors: directly from your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad through Wi-Fi. A simple Wi-Fi receiver (sold separately) is plugged into the monitor's remote control interface port allowing you to then control your monitor through a very intuitive App. You can control one or several monitors from one or several iPod Touch, iPhone, and/or iPad devices.
"The ubiquitous nature of iPhones and iPads, especially in the professional video world, make this a no-brainer for FSI" said Bram Desmet, General Manager of FSI. He goes on to say "When mounted on a wall or installed inside of a carrying bag the monitor's buttons may not always be easily accessible; and, while we have always offered wired remote control via RS232, RS485, and GPI Contact Closure, a wireless touchscreen remote control is simply a more elegant and convenient solution."
The Wi-Fi receivers will start shipping in approximately 1 week and FSI is currently accepting pre-orders. Click Here to learn more or to pre-order your Wi-Fi receiver.
New Scopes Peaking Adjustment Officially Announced Make your built-in Scopes easier to read using the Scopes Peaking Feature
FSI has recently added a peaking adjustment to our built-in Waveform, Vector Scope, and RGB Parade features. With Scopes turned on use the rotary knob labeled Phase/H POS to make the Scopes brighter (turn right) or dimmer (turn left). You can reset to the default position by pressing down on this same rotary knob with Scopes turned on. FSI's Scopes were originally designed to offer the best possible balance between fine detail and readability, but many customers found that the default setting provided to much fine detail and not enough readability. FSI has listened to your feedback and now gives you the ability to easily change this setting to make your Scopes easier to read. Best of all, this feature was included for testing, though not officially announced, in firmware version 9.32 so if you have this firmware version or later you already have this enhancement installed.

New Features on FSI Monitors Addition of Histogram and Color Histogram Scopes
Flanders Scientific is pleased to announce the release of our next major firmware version, 9.35, for the LM-0750W, LM-1760W, LM-1770W, LM-2450W, and LM-2460W. This new firmware version provides you with several new features and a few improvements to existing features.
2 New Scopes Modes Added: Histogram and Color Histogram. As with all FSI Scopes these new modes work on all inputs, even DVI. You can now view a combination of two of any of the following Scope Modes at the same time: Luminance Waveform, Vector Scope, RGB Parade, YRGB Peak, Histogram, and Color Histogram. The new Histogram modes are a welcome addition for still photographers moving into the world of HDSLR video.
Addition of Full Screen function, which allows you to stretch any source to fill the screen. Unlike our Zoom function the Full Screen function does not preserve aspect ratio, but does keep all active video visible. This function was developed specifically to work with some of the new rasterizers on the market that allow for a widescreen 1024x768 DVI output. The Full Screen function allows such a signal to be viewed onscreen as intended.
Lum Coloring Exposure Check Feature's scale will now follow the Waveform Scale set in Scopes and VU Meters Profile 1. This exposure check feature has also been updated to more clearly show under or overexposed areas with a solid black or white onscreen indication.
The SD Aspect Ratio Toggle previously only found on the Video Menu is now also assignable to a Function Key.
These new features are now standard on all new FSI Monitors, and as always this free update is available now to registered FSI Users. If you have not already registered or have forgotten your login information simply register or re-register here: www.FlandersScientific.com/index/Registration

Introducing the New LM-2460W with
FSI's Advanced Color Fidelity Engine
Introducing the New FSI LM-2460W Featuring FSI's Advanced Color Fidelity Engine
FSI's flagship LM-2470W monitor is a native 10 bit, RGB LED Matrix Backlight, color correction monitor designed for the most demanding color critical applications. At the heart of the LM-2470W's powerful capabilities lies FSI's Color Fidelity Engine (CFE). The CFE allows the monitor to store and instantly switch between several distinct 64x64x64 Matrix 3D LUTs, which allows the monitor to very accurately reproduce any of the instantly selectable color spaces found on the monitor.
The LM-2450W has been FSI's workhorse editing monitor for almost 2 years. Though originally designed as a high quality video editing monitor many users found that even with its very basic 3D LUT the LM-2450W served their video color correcting applications quite well.
The new LM-2460W was originally conceived as an addition to the FSI product line to narrow the gap between the LM-2450W and LM-2470W, providing our customers with an 8 bit version of the LM-2470W using the same advanced Color Fidelity Engine that would look and perform as much like the 10 bit LM-2470W as possible, but at a lower cost. This would be especially important to customers using a mix of 2470W and 2460W in the same facility.
"Instead of just adding the 2460W as an additional choice between the 8bit 2450W and 10bit 2470W we asked ourselves if it would be possible to offer the new 2460W at the same price as the 2450W? And this is precisely what we have done, by keeping the price at $4,995 despite the added production cost of the advanced CFE board" said Dan Desmet, Director of Business Development for FSI. As with the 2450W the 2460W features full 10 bit video processing, but the added CFE board provides the LM-2460W with a 3D LUT Matrix that is 128 times larger than the basic 3D LUT on the LM-2450W, which provides you with the following distinct advantages, and all at no additional cost:
More accurate color reproduction in all color spaces modes
Smoother gradients and less banding both within and outside of legal color limits
Enhanced saturation control for precise handling of difficult skin tone shades
Very precise matching to LM-2470W
Bram Desmet, General Manager of FSI, says of the 2460W: "These enhancements make the LM-2460W suitable for your most demanding video color correction applications. For film-out or DCI applications the LM-2470W is still your best bet, but for any video based applications the LM-2460W will deliver a new level of color accuracy and display performance that you will be hard pressed to find on any other 8 bit monitor on the market, regardless of price." He goes on to say "Not everyone is working in a Telecine or DCI environment, but many environments are dedicated full time to high-end color correction of video destined for the broadcast TV world and that is where the LM-2460W strikes an excellent balance between affordability and first rate color accuracy."
The LM-2460W takes the place of the LM-2450W effective immediately and is now available at www.ShopFSI.com .
Upgrade your LM-2450W to an LM-2460W We have a hardware upgrade path to turn your LM-2450W into an LM-2460W
We know that many FSI users are starting to pursue projects that lie well outside the type of work they originally had in mind when they purchased their LM-2450W. High-end color correction is becoming a greater part of many of our customers' day to day work and the LM-2460W would be an excellent fit for many of these users. In this light FSI is happy to announce that ANY LM-2450W , no matter how old, can be upgraded with a CFE board for just $295 plus shipping (to/from FSI) . Your monitor must come back to FSI to have the board installed, firmware updated, and monitor realigned as part of this upgrade. The $295 charge covers parts, alignment, and labor.
After ordering your upgrade someone from our service department will contact you to schedule your upgrade. Please DO NOT send back your monitor for upgrade without an RMA # and service appointment date. FSI will schedule upgrades to allow for 24 hour turnaround when we receive your unit to minimize downtime.

New Advanced Features
for Flanders Scientific Monitors
Incredible New Features for FSI Broadcast Monitors Double Scopes, Focus Assist, Keypad Lock, and Custom Markers
Our customers asked and we have delivered. Flanders Scientific is pleased to announce the addition of four highly requested new features:
Double Scopes: Select any two Scope Modes (Waveform, Vector Scope, RGB Parade, or YRGB Peak Column) and display them simultaneously onscreen instead of just one at a time.
Focus Assist: Our new focus assist feature provides a unique blend of both a focus highlight function and a numerical focus meter. The focus highlight portion of this new feature will highlight in red the edges of the in focus object while the focus meter function will simultaneously give a numerical indication of focus level for the highlighted object(s). This function also features a user adjustable reference 'in focus' level that can be easily set/changed with a rotary knob on the monitor. The focus assist feature, just like the Scopes feature, works on all inputs.
Keypad Lock: FSI has added the ability to lockout the keypad of the monitor via a GPI trigger. You can either use a standard GPI remote control system, such as our RM-J1 GPI remote control box, to activate this function or for those locking for a more compact lockout solution we have created an easy to use GPI Keylock that is about half the size of AA battery and the simplest way to turn the Keypad Lock feature on/off.
Custom Markers: FSI has added a custom graticules function to the already extensive Marker feature. This custom marker feature allows you to individually position four lines onscreen to create a custom onscreen marker that can be easily turned on/off by pressing just one function button.
Addition to Measurement Function:
The Measurement Function recently added to FSI monitors has been updated to now show the difference in physical position between reference and current positions. The difference between current and reference line and sample position will now be quantified in the difference row when the measurement function is in use. This addition comes at the request of numerous FSI customers that needed a simple way to quantify the height, width, and positioning of onscreen items expressed in number of pixels and can be very useful in making sure rules and/or guides about onscreen graphics or text are adhered to for a wide variety of applications.
All of these features are now standard on all new FSI monitors and available as FREE firmware updates for current registered FSI customers that own LM-0750W, LM-1760W, LM-1770W, or LM-2450W monitors (simply upgrade to firmware version 9.30 or later). Haven't registered your monitor(s) yet? Do so here: http://www.FlandersScientific.com/index/Registration .
FSI monitors are available for purchase worldwide from www.ShopFSI.com. Questions about these new features or FSI products in general? E-Mail us at Sales@FlandersScientific.com or give us a call at 678.835.4934.

Flanders Scientific Monitors Now
5D Mark II HD Compatible
The Canon 5D Mark II DSLR camera has become a very popular video production tool. However, finding an affordable high quality professional monitor to work in conjunction with the unit can be difficult. While most consumer type HDMI equipped televisions work with the 5D Mark II, many professional monitors do not, especially those equipped with DVI instead of HDMI inputs. Typically most monitors will work at least at 480P with the Canon, but many monitors will not support the 1080 HDMI output when in Live View or Playback Mode. While the 5D Mark II does switch to 480 output when recording many operators still find it very useful to be able to frame, focus, and review footage in HD. In light of this Flanders Scientific is happy to announce that all FSI monitor models are now compatible with the 1080 HDMI output from the Canon 5D Mark II.
With this enhancement to our product line the FSI monitors join the ranks of only a handful of professional broadcast monitors that support 1080 over DVI from the Canon 5D Mark II. Simply use any readily available HDMI to DVI cable and be up and monitoring in seconds.
LM-1770W with Canon 5D Mark II
Why is this Important?
Why not just use a consumer level monitor or another HDMI equipped professional monitor? Well, one of the huge advantages of being able to use an FSI monitor with the Canon 5D Mark II is that FSI is one of the only professional monitor manufacturers to offer Waveform, Vector Scope, RGB Parade, and YRGB Peak Waveform display on all inputs, even DVI. This in addition to our advanced Measurement and LUM Coloring features, which also work on all inputs, make this easily one of the most advanced 5D Mark II compatible monitor lines available.
So whether you are looking for a 7" monitor to accompany the 5D Mark II for your own use or want a larger 17" monitor for onset client playback you can rest assured that FSI has a compatible monitor that is professionally calibrated and equipped with advanced features that are usually only found on monitors when using an HD/SD-SDI signal.

New 7" and 17" FSI Monitors Now In Stock &
Limited Time Promotion on 7" Monitors!
Available for Immediate Delivery, the New 7" and 17" FSI Monitors
We've been shipping the LM-0750W and LM-1770W for about a month now, but primarily to those customers that placed their orders early and were patiently waiting for these new releases to arrive. We've been working hard to build enough units to work through this backlog and we are happy to report that we've shipped all of these pre-ordered units and now have LM-0750W and LM-1770W in stock and available for immediate delivery. Click Here to Order.
Limited Time Promotion on LM-0750W!
Order by January 29th and receive a free Clear Protective Screen Cover
We now have clear protective screen covers made of durable optical grade acrylic available for the LM-0750W. These clear protective covers simply attach to the front of the monitor using hook and loop fasteners. Unlike stick on protector sheets these rigid screen covers help prevent impact damage or bruising to the LCD panel and are an inexpensive (and completely replaceable) way to protect your investment. Best of all, if you order an LM-0750W before January 29th we will automatically give you a Clear Protective Screen cover free of charge, a $95 value! Click Here to Order.
Which 17" FSI Monitor is Right for Me?
Don't forget, not only does FSI have LM-1770W monitors in stock, but we also have our tried and true LM-1760W available for $200 less! However, like many of our customers you may be wondering which 17" model is right for your application. Let's start with some basics.
What is the Same:
Same Resolution
Same Contrast Ratio
Same Pixel Response Time
Same Off-Axis Viewing Performance
Same Screen Size, 17"
Same Inputs & Outputs
Same Menu Functions and Features
What is Different:
LM-1770W is 2.8lbs lighter
LM-1770W uses White LED Matrix Backlight, LM-1760W uses EEFL Backlight
LM-1770W requires 12VDC, LM-1760W requires 24VDC (both also have AC power connections)
LM-1770W only draws approximately 27Watts, LM-1760W draws 44Watts
On a 12V battery the LM-1770W will last about twice as long as the LM-1760W
LM-1770W is slightly more compact than LM-1760W, chassis only--screen size is the same
LM-1770W color temperature and luminance stabilize almost instantly when turned on, LM-1760W should be allowed to warm up for 30 about minutes before making color critical decisions on the unit
LM-1770W is $200 more expensive than the LM-1760W
So what does all this mean for you:
The LM-1770W is probably the right monitor for you if you plan to use it primarily as a field unit. The weight and power savings alone make it ideal for field use, but the added bonus of not requiring any warm up period when first turned on is also well suited for field use applications. Additionally, the 12VDC power, as opposed to 24VDC on 1760W, makes the LM-1770W compatible with a much wider array of portable field batteries.
However, if you plan to use your 17" unit in a rack mount or desktop application the LM-1760W is every bit as good performance wise and will save you $200. You can also rest assured that if you ever do need to use the LM-1760W as a field monitor it is available with a 12VDC to 24VDC power adapter and is still more efficient and lighter weight than the majority of other 17" broadcast monitors on the market.
Still not sure which 17" unit is right for you? Give us a call at 678.835.4934 or E-Mail us at Sales@FlandersScientific.com.

A New Reason to Join FSI on Facebook:
Dutch Auction Specials, Exclusive to FB!
A Great New Reason to Join FSI on Facebook in the New Year
Check us out on Facebook to Receive Exclusive Information on Dutch Auction Specials
As a special thank you to our most loyal FSI fans we are introducing Dutch Auction Specials that will ONLY be announced on our Facebook Fan Page. FSI will regularly post new Dutch Auction Specials to the FSI Facebook page that we will not announce anywhere else. Links will be posted on the FB page regularly so become a fan of FSI on FB or simply check our FB page regularly to see the latest Dutch Auction announcements.
How Our Dutch Auctions Work
From time to time FSI will post a direct link to a Dutch Auction Item (or Items) on our FB fan page. These links will take you to our Dutch Auction listing. These auctions work in reverse from standard auctions in that the price goes down automatically, not up, as time passes. Every Dutch Auction will run for a specified amount of time or until the item is sold, whichever comes first. A countdown timer accompanies every Dutch Auction listing and if no one purchases the item before time expires the Dutch Auction listing is simply removed as an unsold item. To win an auction you must be the first person to purchase the item at the current auction price listed. The nearer you get to the Dutch Auction expiration time the better your price will be, but if you wait too long someone else may purchase the unit first or the auction may expire before you have the chance to complete your purchase. Our first Dutch Auction listing will be tomorrow morning (1/5/2010), so join us on FB now to see what gets posted!

Introducing New Features &
Product Enhancements for FSI Monitors
Flanders Scientific is happy to announce the addition of several new product features and enhancements to our already value-packed line of Professional Broadcast Monitors. These updates will be included as standard features on all new monitors and as always are available as free updates via a simple firmware update to our existing customers. Want to learn more about our monitors? Visit our online store at www.ShopFSI.com or see our recently completed 'How-To' Video Manual on our homepage (www.FlandersScientific.com). The Video Manual is an excellent resource for both existing customers and anyone interested in learning more about our monitors.
New Features:
Timecode Display: Select between VITC 1, VITC 2, or LTC from the main menu for onscreen display of Timecode.
Active Boundary Marker: In addition to the wide assortment of traditional markers and safety areas, FSI has developed an Active Boundary Marker that can be used to highlight the limits of the Active Video Area for any given signal. The Active Boundary Marker allows you to highlight the edge of the active video area anytime the source does not extend all the way to the monitor's bezel, which makes it particularly useful for identifying the upper and lower limits of a 16:9 source on the 1920x1200 Resolution LM-2450W (24" FSI Monitor).
H/V Delay feature: This feature is now incorporated in every FSI Monitor.
Product Enhancements:
Positionable Waveform/Vector Scope: Now you can move Waveform / Vector Scope display to any of 6 onscreen positions.
Enhanced DVI Support: Select between YPbPr, Full RGB, or Limited RGB DVI formats. Support for 1920x1080p60 over DVI has also been added.
Enhanced 3Gbps SDI Support: 3Gbps SDI sources are now clearly labeled with a '3G' indication by the onscreen status indicator. Additionally, support of 4:4:4 RGB, in addition to 4:4:4 YPbPr and 4:2:2 1080p50/60 support, over 3Gbps SDI have been added.
Component Input Selection Toggle Added: Select between analog RGB or analog YPbPr from main menu.
NTSC Setup Selection added: Select between 0 or 7.5 IRE.
Enhanced 720P Support: 720p23.98/24/25/29/30 now supported in addition to 720p50/59.94/60
Push Button Audio Mute: In response to popular demand we have added a push button mute function to the volume knob. Simply press down on the volume rotary knob to mute the monitor.

FSI Announces New Products
& Video User Manual
Extend your HDMI signal up to 328ft over Coax with our New HDMI-EXT
FSI is excited to announce its new HDMI Extender series of signal distribution boxes. The HDMI-EXT allows you take any HDMI source and transmit it over coaxial cable. Best of all, the signal is entirely SDI compatible so it can be routed directly through your standard serial digital routing equipment.
Why bother with the cost and time of running new Cat5 or optical fiber for traditonal HDMI extenders? FSI's new HDMI Extenders allow you to utilize your existing coax cable and SDI routing equipment to route HDMI signals throughout your facility with ease.
If your HDMI source does not contain HDCP the HDMI-EXT transmitter box (HDMI-EXT.TX) converts your signal to a normal serial digital signal that can be fed directly into any SDI monitor or other SDI input equipped piece of equipment.
If your source does contain HDCP then the Transmitter box will convert your HDMI signal to an encrytped proprietary HD-SDI signal that can still be routed through your standard SDI routing equipment. This can then be sent to our HDMI-EXT receiver box (HDMI-EXT.RX) that will again produce an HDMI output with HDCP intact up to 328ft away!
The HDMI-EXT is a multi-rate box that can handle SD, HD, or 3Gbps bandwidth signals. This allows you to run even a 1920x1080p60 source over coax to either a 3Gbps monitor or to our HDMI-EXT receiver for end to end 1080p60 support.
Each HDMI-EXT box runs $495 and can be pre-ordered now from www.ShopFSI.com . Current shipping lead time is approximately 3 weeks. If you have any questions about the HDMI-EXT.TX or HDMI-EXT.RX please contact us at 678.835.4934 or via E-Mail: Sales@FlandersScientific.com.

Atlanta - December 1, 2008 - - Flanders Scientific, Inc. and Zunzheng Digital Video Research Co. Ltd. announce an agreement to start the promotion of the Flanders Scientific – Zunzheng brand of LCD Broadcast Quality Video Monitors in the Americas’ market.
Flanders Scientific – Zunzheng monitors fill a market segment that has largely remained unaddressed until now: top specifications, features, and performance at rock bottom prices.
All Flanders Scientific – Zunzheng monitors have composite, component, RGB, DVI-I, SD and HD SDI inputs. The monitors are also optionally compatible with the new 3 Gbps serial digital standard. Standard features include: tally lights, safe area and aspect ratio markers, audio disembedding, VU meters, vectorsope and waveform monitors …
The product line consists of both “grade 1” (for critical monitoring applications) and “grade 2” (for less critical viewing applications) monitor models. The product line covers sizes from 7” through 24”, with larger screen solutions being introduced in the very near future.
Both Sales and Technical Support are provided from Flanders Scientific’s headquarters in Suwanee, GA.
“Flanders Scientific has actively been looking for top quality LCD broadcast monitor technology at affordable price levels to complement its other product lines” said Bram Desmet, Managing Director of Flanders Scientific “and Zunzheng offers this unique combination that the market is looking for in these challenging economic times.”
“Zunzheng Digital Video Research desires to build on its national success story by entering and expanding into the Americas market” said Zunzheng Wang, President of Zunzheng Digital Video Research “and the market, sales and technical expertise of Flanders Scientific make them the ideal partner for this joint effort.”
“Simply put: Flanders Scientific – Zunzheng monitors deliver the biggest bang for the buck with features like wide color gamut LCD panels, advanced vectorscope/waveform functions and 3Gbps compatibility at recession proof price levels” said Bram Desmet.
“Zunzheng Digital Video Research has built a solid reputation of top quality product and flawless support, and Flanders Scientific will guarantee that we continue on that same path for the Americas market, not only for the current LCD monitor products but also for many more exciting and innovative products that will be introduced in the near future” said Zunheng Wang.
Flanders Scientific – Zunzheng will be exhibiting at HD Expo in Los Angeles on March 5th (booth 313) and then again at the NAB Show in Las Vegas April 20th-23rd (booth SU 7025/7026).

10.24.08-Suwanee, GA--Flanders Scientific is happy to announce the release of the all new SR-One Spectroradiometer. The SR-One was built specifically to provide broadcast and post-production customers with a spectroradiometer capable of delivering accuracy on par with units costing 3 to 4 times as much, but without all of the unnecessary optics and add-ons that account for such a great deal of the cost associated with more expensive units.
The SR-One is best utilized in typical broadcast and post-production environments where relatively close proximity to the display is not only possible, but typically easier to achieve than distant measuring. Additionally, with the increasing use of display devices such as LED backlight equipped LCD monitors the need for a spectroradiometer, as opposed to devices such as colorimeters, will become ever more important if accurate display measurement is desired.
As the color of the R,G,B primaries becomes more monochromatic, narrow bandwidth, and spectrally pure (ie LED backlight) a colorimeter's inherit deviance from the CIE 1931 defined spectral response curves leads to increasing errors in measurement as the light output no longer covers a wide enough spectrum to provide an averaged and relatively acceptable measurement. A spectroradiometer with high spectral resolution, narrow spectral bandwidth measurement ability, and high digital resolution resolves this problem and has the added advantage of being truly display agnostic. For facilities using a wide variety of display technologies, and especially for those environments with LCD monitors using LED backlights, a spectroradiometer is a critical piece of test and maintenance equipment for ensuring proper facility wide standardization of display calibration.
The SR-One is as good or better than significantly more expensive spectroradiometers on the market. Moreover, the SR-One is well suited to measuring displays at very close distances, something many of the more expensive spectroradiometers are not well equipped to handle. We invite you to compare our specifications to some of our competitors' (http://www.FlandersScientific.com/index/spectroradiometer) and see how our $8,995 solution can get the job done equally well for you.
Flanders Scientific specializes in professional broadcast equipment. FSI is based out of Suwanee, GA, just 30 minutes outside of Atlanta. Our company seeks to provide professional broadcast and post-production customers with leading edge technology at reasonable prices. The employees at Flanders Scientific are industry experts in professional video technology, some with over 25 years of experience in the professional broadcast industry.
