Yes, the keypad can be locked out by using the Keyboard Locking feature via GPI remote control. Any GPI remote control can trigger the keyboard lock feature (such as FSI's optional RM-J1 GPI Remote Control) , but if you are looking for a simpler, inexpensive, and more compact keylock option we also offer our GPI Keypad Lockout.

The Keyboard Locking feature is found on all new FSI monitors and on any FSI monitor with firmware version 9.30 or later. If you already own an FSI monitor that does not already include this feature simply install the free upgrade to firmware version 9.30 or later to add this capability.
