All new monitors and any monitors purchased since October of 2009 are updateable from virtually any computer, Mac or PC. Additionally, any monitor that has been updated to version 9.16 or later firmware is also updateable from any computer. If you do not already have 9.16 or later firmware on an existing monitor you will only need a 32 bit Windows PC to update your monitor once, after updating to 9.16 or later all future updates will be possible from any computer system.

Any computer system that supports generic USB mass storage devices (thumb drives) is capable of updating FSI monitors that currently have 9.16 firmware or later. This means that you are not simply limited to Mac or Windows PC based systems, any system that supports a USB thumb drive is capable of updating your monitor.
