Introducing the XMP270

Compact, Production-Ready HDR Monitoring

We’re excited to introduce the Flanders Scientific XMP270, a 26.5" QD-OLED HDR reference monitor built to bring post-production grade accuracy to live production environments. Designed with the same award-winning tech found in our larger XMP models (XMP310, XMP550, and XMP650), the XMP270 delivers uncompromising HDR performance in a more compact, lightweight, and power-efficient package.

Optimized for Field Use - Comparison to XMP310
  • Almost 20% lighter, 4lbs of total weight savings.
  • 29% smaller overall,monitor width is 4.25" smaller
  • Up to 5% more power efficient

Wider HDR adoption throughout the professional video industry has been hindered by a lack of professional, production-friendly, HDR monitoring solutions. Weight, power consumption, fan-noise, size, and cost have relegated most professional HDR monitoring to larger format post-production applications. On set HDR monitoring solutions have, until this point, been compromised with significant performance or form-factor limitations. The XMP270 changes this with a solution DITs, camera shaders, and engineers can comfortably deploy in the field at a fraction of the cost of traditional HDR reference displays.

Key Features:
  • 26.5" QD-OLED Panel: Native UHD resolution (3840x2160), 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, and 1000 nits peak luminance for vibrant, accurate HDR images.
  • Unmatched Off-Axis Viewing: Consistent color and brightness at any angle, making it ideal for collaborative environments.
  • Flexible Connectivity: Four 12Gbps SDI inputs with clean loop-throughs and processed monitor outputs, supporting UHD to HD down-conversion and Look LUT application per input.
  • Multi-Source Monitoring: Simultaneously view up to four sources on screen without requiring gen-lock—perfect for multi-camera setups.
  • Silent, Fanless Operation: Cooled through a graphite heat sink and all-aluminum chassis, ensuring zero noise on set.
  • DC Power Support: Battery-operable for remote and mobile workflows, offering unmatched flexibility.
  • The XMP270 is anticipated to start shipping in June and is available at a special introductory price of $10,995 for a limited time.
