Tariff Impact Update

As you are likely aware, steep new tariffs have been implemented and this will necessitate an increase in our pricing in the near future. We know some of you may have questions related to these increases so we wanted to provide some basic answers today, based on the latest information we have available, regarding these pending changes:

When?

We have set a tentative target of Friday, April 11th at 4pm ET for price changes to take effect. This is to allow us a few more days to complete a thorough cost analysis as we aim to minimize the impact to end users and to give customers that may have been considering a near term purchase approximately 1 week to complete those purchases at the current prices.

How Much?

Final pricing has not been set yet, but our early estimates indicate that most products will see a 2% to 10% price increase depending on model.

What about UK and EU office pricing?

While all goods sold by us currently transit through our US office first, we are looking at ways to minimize the impact to UK and EU markets. These efforts combined with a weakening dollar may limit or even entirely offset the need for a price increase, but we cannot completely rule out the possibility of price increases in these markets as these new tariffs could have far reaching global impacts.

What about the introductory price on the XMP270?

No final decision has been made, but it is likely that the introductory pricing offer on the XMP270 may be be cutoff sooner than originally anticipated. If you have already ordered at the intro price or plan on doing so in the next few days don’t worry, we will honor the price you have already paid.
